Anubisz (görögös névalak; eredeti egyiptomi neve Anpu, Inpu vagy Inepu) az ókori egyiptomi hitvilágban az alvilág és a holtak oltalmazója, később a holttestek bebalzsamozóinak istene is. Ozirisz kultuszának elterjedése előtt Anubisz vezette a halottakat az alvilágba. Az ábrázolásokon fekvő sakál vagy vadkutya, illetve sakál- vagy kutyafejű ember alakjában jelenítették meg.
