Um die Jahrhundertwende war es üblich, dass tätowierte Menschen als Attraktion auf Jahrmärkten und im Zirkus ausgestellt und bewundert wurden.Sogenannte “Freak-Shows” waren geboren mit tätowierten und gepiercten Menschen, die nicht der Norm entsprachen.
Da wir alle im Team nicht der Norm entsprechen und auch nicht entsprechen wollen, sind wir auf diesen Namen gestossen.
Sofort tat sich eine Reihe von Paralellen auf, die wir im täglichen Umgang mit unseren Kunden im Studio erleben.
Kunden verstehen uns als Nadelartisten – oder als Clowns…
Manchmal ist das Tätowieren ein Hochseilakt (vorallem wenn der Kunde sich bewegt…)
Einen Dompteur bräuchten wir zwischendurch, wenn Eltern Ihre bereits volljährigen Kinder vor “dem grössten Fehler Ihres Lebens” bewahren wollen…
Und nun hereinspaziert in die kunterbunte Welt des Tattoo – Zirkus.

Since we do not comply with the norm in the team and do not want to comply, we have come to this name.
Immediately a number of parallels we have experienced in the daily handling of our customers in the studio.
Customers understand us as needle artists – or as clowns …
Sometimes the tattoo is a high cable act (especially if the customer moves …)
We would need a trumpet in between, if parents want to preserve their already full-year children before “the largest mistake of their lives” …
