The world-famous Fulham Tattoo in the heart of London was established over 40 years ago, within the basement of the family furniture shop at 673 Fulham Road. This makes Fulham Tattoo one of longest running Tattoo shops in London.
Terry Maclaren who was sixteen at the time became the youngest registered Tattoo Artist in England, taught himself the art of tattooing by practising on his elder brother and close friends. His younger brother Gary joined the family business a few years later.
During the last 15 years, the Tattoo shop in Londons reputation has solidified as one of London’s leading custom tattoo studios. Consequently, to keep up with demand they’ve had to expand and now occupies the entire shop, operating over two floors, creating four tattoo studios and a piercing studio.
The London Tattoo studio based at 673 Fulham Road has attracted famous A-list celebrities, sports stars and musicians such as: The Beckham’s, Jose Mourinho, Eden Hazard, Ed Sheeran, Nathaniel Clyne, Danny Care, Jodie Kidd, Didier Drogba to name a few.
Terry still teaches the art of tattooing to many of today’s working international artists. Terry and Gary continue to specialise in traditional full colour artwork – work that lasts a lifetime.
A 2nd generation of Maclaren’s proudly continue the family business. Terry’s son Scott has created a huge name for himself in the world of tattooing, with his specialised graphic script, full colour traditional tattoos and immaculate line work creating fine details in tattoos that many London Tattoo shops will not even attempt.
The Fulham studio offers tattooing and body piercing by fully qualified professionals both male and female. The London tattoo studio is licensed by the Fulham and Hammersmith Health Authority in London and run under the strictest of hygiene.’
