After my 10 year experience with “Into You” I thought it would be as good a time as ever to try and open a shop of my own. So together with my partner who had already been inking for 5 years, I guessed there was enough experience, knowledge and passion between us to go for it. And at that time there was still a sensible amount of studios (regarding business competition).
I won’t go into why we called our project “I Hate Tattoos” But I bet you won’t ever forget it!
I Mean what DOES one call a Tattoo studio, without seeming pretentious, repetitious or grandiose!
Since launching, IHT has had 3 different homes, varying from a basement below a hair salon via a ground floor corner shop to a 2 floor spacious shop on the border of Camden and Islington. However different the buildings have been the vibe has always been the same; friendly, relaxed and constructive, always with a musical background of the customers or tattoo artists choice.
