My passion for drawing emerged when I was very young through a love of comic books and fantasy art. I soon began creating my own imaginative worlds and characters with the hope of becoming a comic book artist myself. At university I honed my illustration skills while studying and working as a concept artist. After graduating in 2009 I fell in love with the art of tattooing and soon learned to translate my skills onto skin.
Much of my artwork is inspired by a lifelong love of martial arts, eastern philosophy, and western esotericism. I recently completed an MA in Religious Studies, with my dissertation focusing on cognitive science and mystical experiences.
Having lived in Berlin, the US, and at various places around the UK, I’m currently based in Manchester and tattoo from a private studio near the city centre.
